The price of gold rose today, Wednesday, in the middle of trading, and the gram increased by 25 pounds compared to the prices at the beginning of trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold fell by 25 pounds at the beginning of trading, before rising again by the same value in the middle of trading.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices rose to 2033 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold increased to about 2614 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold rose to 3050 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold rose to 3486 pounds per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound rose to 24,400 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
Gold price globally
The global price of gold fell to about $2,154 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat), in the middle of Wednesday’s trading, a decline of 0.16%, according to the latest update of Bloomberg data.
